Royal Arctic Line has app. 750 employees, spread out in different divisions and subsidiaries.
Royal Arctic Line ltd. is the mothercompany and is owned 100% by the Greenlandic Self Rule Government. The container line between Greenland and the rest of the world, and between cities in Greenland are carried out by the vessels of Royal Arctic Line.
Royal Arctic Havneservice runs 13 ports in Greenland.
Forwarding and delivery-services like air freigt, combined ship/plan and consolidation are handled by Royal Arctic Logistics.
In Denmark Royal Arctic Logistics is the company's representative and liner agency. The subsidiary also runs stevedoring in the Greenlandic base harbour in Aalborg.
Royal Arctic Line is also very active in other markets. Passengers in Greenland are handled in the subsidiary Arctic Umiaq Line, owned together with Air Greenland.
We are also a part of the many mining- and oil projects in Greenland. This is partly done through Arctic Base Supply - a joint venture with Maersk-owned Danbor Services.
